Class space is limited to 4 people

Lessons are available at October Farm in the areas of Dressage, Eventing, and Huntseat.  Our philosophy is "Correct basics and good horsemanship are the keys to success and happiness with horses, regardless of the discipline or goal."

Whether you’re looking to learn how to ride just for fun, or refine your competition skills, we have an instructor to accommodate you.  Our students compete in a variety of shows including: our own farm shows, local hunter shows, dressage shows, and all the way up to the IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) Nationals, where one of team members, Kristen Cook, won National Champion in her division.

New students learn how to groom, tack-up, and ride as part of their private one hour lesson.  Once students are able to groom and tack up independently, they are welcomed to either remain in their hour private lesson, take a half hour private lesson, or join into a semi-private or group of students that share the same amount of experience.
